1. Houston Texans-Jadeveon Clowney-Defensive End-South Carolina

The Houston Texans will have an important decision to make in taking Jadeveon Clowney or Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, but they will end up picking the best player available.

2. St. Louis Rams-Sammy Watkins-Wide Receiver-Clemson

The St. Louis Rams are a few play makers away from being a playoff team.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars-Blake Bortles-Quarterback-Central Florida

Blake Bortles won’t have to spend that much on moving expenses as he’ll be going from Orlando to Jacksonville.
4. Cleveland Browns-Johnny Manziel-Quarterback-Texas A&M

For the first time since the days of Bernie Kosar, the Cleveland Browns will have a franchise quarterback that will put some excitement into the fan base.

5. Oakland Raiders-Tedddy Bridgewater-Quarterback-Louisville

The Oakland Raiders franchise is extremely desperate for a franchise quarterback.

6. Atlanta Falcons-Khalil Mack-Outside Linebacker-Buffalo

The NFC South is home to some of the better quarterbacks in the National Football League and the Atlanta Falcons are hopeful that they’ll find an edge rusher to combat that in Khalil Mack.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Greg Robinson-Offensive Tackle-Auburn

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers would love to hit it big with a franchise quarterback in the first round, but if that doesn’t happen they will find an anchor on their offensive line.

8. Minnesota Vikings-Anthony Barr-Outside Linebacker-UCLA

The Minnesota Vikings linebacking core has been weak for a long time. A hybrid edge rusher like Anthony Barr can change that.
9. Buffalo Bills-Zack Martin-Guard-Notre Dame

The Buffalo Bills could take an offensive tackle here, but Zack Martin is too good to pass on as he’ll bring immediate help to the interior of the offensive line in Buffalo.
10. Detroit Lions-Jake Matthews-Offensive Tackle-Texas A&M

If nothing else the Detroit Lions will draft a player in Jake Matthews that will have a lengthy career as he is a part of “The Bloodline”.
11. Tennessee Titans-Justin Gilbert-Cornerback-Oklahoma State

New Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt would love to take a beefy defensive tackle here, but Justin Gilbert is too good to pass on.
12. New York Giants-Eric Ebron-Tight End-North Carolina

The New York Giants have several directions that they can go with this choice and tight end is one of them.
13. St. Louis Rams-Ha Ha Clinton-Dix-Free Safety-Alabama

In a division that has big, physical wide receivers such as Anquan Boldin of the San Francisco 49ers and Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals, the St. Louis Rams need an enforcer at safety that will bring the pain.
14. Chicago Bears-Taylor Lewan-Offensive Tackle-Michigan

Offensive tackle Taylor Lewan could go higher, but he would not have a problem staying in Big Ten country while protecting the blindside of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers-Louis Nix-Defensive Tackle-Notre Dame

Since Casey Hampton retired in 2012, the Pittsburgh Steelers have lacked a nose tackle that could command a double-team.

16. Dallas Cowboys-Aaron Donald-Defensive Tackle-Pittsburgh

The Dallas Cowboys have several needs entering the first round and Aaron Donald is a defensive tackle to could disrupt things for opposing offenses.
17. Baltimore Ravens-Cyrus Kouandijo-Offensive Tackle-Alabama

When Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome puts on his thinking cap, good things typically happen for the Ravens at the NFL Draft.

18. New York Jets-Mike Evans-Wide Receiver-Texas A&M

The New York Jets have their eyes on tight end Eric Ebron, but if he is gone Mike Evans is not a bad option.

19. Miami Dolphins-Xavier Su’a-Filo-Guard-UCLA

After last year’s bullying scandal the offensive line of the Miami Dolphins will be overhauled.

20. Arizona Cardinals-Ryan Shazier-Outside Linebacker-Ohio State

The Arizona Cardinals had one of the top defenses in the NFL last season and you can expect that trend to continue in 2014.

21. Green Bay Packers-Odell Beckham Jr.-Wide Receiver-LSU

In the past few years the Green Bay Packers wide receiver corps have been decimated by free agency and it is time for Packers general manager Ted Thompson to address that this spring.

22. Philadelphia Eagles-Darqueze Dennard-Cornerback-Michigan State

In a division with wide receivers such as DeSean Jackson of the Washington Redskins, Victor Cruz of the New York Giants, and Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys, the Philadelphia Eagles need all the help that they can get in their secondary.

23. Kansas City Chiefs-Derek Carr-Quarterback-Fresno State

I would not be surprised if Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid were to pull of the shocker of the first round by selecting quarterback Derek Carr. Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith did lead the team to the playoffs last season, but is he really a franchise quarterback?

24. Cincinnati Bengals-Dee Ford-Defensive End-Auburn

The Cincinnati Bengals lost defensive end Michael Johnson in free agency, but they won’t skip a beat in drafting Dee Ford.
25. San Diego Chargers-Kyle Fuller-Cornerback-Virginia Tech

The San Diego Chargers enter the 2014 NFL Draft a little thin in the secondary and the selection of Kyle Fuller is a step in the right direction as far as repairing that.

26. Cleveland Browns-Calvin Pryor-Free Safety-Louisville

If the Cleveland Browns are able to snag both Johnny Manziel and Calvin Pryor in the first round then this weekend’s draft will be a smashing success for them.

27. New Orleans Saints-C.J. Mosley-Inside Linebacker-Alabama

C.J. Mosley has tremendous instincts to play inside linebacker. Under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, the New Orleans Saints are currently running a 3-4 defensive scheme. It will be a smooth transition for Mosley who mainly played in the 3-4 during his college days at Alabama.

28. Carolina Panthers-Marquise Lee-Wide Receiver-USC

If the Carolina Panthers once again miss out on the opportunity to select a wide receiver then it could be a long season for them in the NFC South.

29. New England Patriots-Timmy Jernigan-Defensive Tackle-Florida State

The New England Patriots are in need of a tight end, but at this point Timmy Jernigan is the best player available. Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is
32-years old and he is also coming off of an Achilles injury. We have seen in the past that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick does not have a problem cutting veterans in favor of the youth movement.

30. San Francisco 49ers-Jason Verrett-Cornerback-TCU

The secondary of the San Francisco 49ers defense is their weak link. If the Niners are going to contend for a Super Bowl Championship this season they will need more out of that unit.
31. Denver Broncos-Kony Ealy-Defensive End-Missouri

The Denver Broncos could strike it big at the draft if they are able to pair Kony Ealy with defensive end DeMarcus Ware.
32. Seattle Seahawks-Morgan Moses-Offensive Tackle-Virginia

The Seattle Seahawks lost several veterans in free agency as the process of adding depth begins for the Super Bowl Champions.
