1. Houston Texans-Blake Bortles-Quarterback-Central Florida

The Houston Texans could trade down to get Blake Bortles, but if they are unable to find a trade partner then they’ll take him first overall.

2. St. Louis Rams-Sammy Watkins-Wide Receiver-Clemson

Very quickly St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is changing the culture there and he is also bringing in athletes that will get this team back to the postseason.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars-Teddy Bridgewater-Quarterback-Louisville

Some people are saying that quarterback Teddy Bridgewater could fall to the second round, but in this modern day National Football League there is a desire to take quarterbacks early in the draft.

4. Cleveland Browns-Johnny Manziel-Quarterback-Texas A&M

Johnny Manziel believes that he should be the first overall pick which will make him work that much harder when he joins the Cleveland Browns.

5. Oakland Raiders-Hasean Clinton-Dix-Free Safety-Alabama

Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie is hopeful that free safety Hasean Clinton-Dix is the missing piece that can get the Raiders back to the postseason for the first time since 2002.

6. Atlanta Falcons-Jadeveon Clowney-Defensive End-South Carolina

Jadeveon Clowney will be the best athlete entering the draft and he falls into the lap of the Atlanta Falcons here.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Greg Robinson-Offensive Tackle-Auburn

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will miss out on the first-round quarterback gravy train, but that won’t stop them for addressing needs on the offensive line.

8. Minnesota Vikings-Zack Martin-Guard-Notre Dame

If the Minnesota Vikings do not trade up in order to draft a quarterback they can fill a huge void at the guard position.

9. Buffalo Bills-Jake Matthews-Offensive Tackle-Texas A&M

Last year the Buffalo Bills drafted their franchise quarterback in EJ Manuel and now it is time to protect his blindside.

10. Detroit Lions-Taylor Lewan-Offensive Tackle-Michigan

For the Detroit Lions to get back to the playoffs they are going to have to protect quarterback Matthew Stafford and keep him healthy and it doesn’t get better than the 6’7″ Taylor Lewan.

11. Tennessee Titans-Louis Nix-Defensive Tackle-Notre Dame

New Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt is transforming the Titans defense to a 3-4 scheme which means that he will need to beef up the defensive line.

12. New York Giants-Eric Ebron-Tight End-North Carolina

There are several directions that the New York Giants could go with this choice, but a pass catching tight end is just what the doctor ordered for Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

13. St. Louis Rams-Justin Gilbert-Cornerback-Oklahoma State

The St. Louis Rams will enter the 2014 National Football League season as arguably the most improved team in football with an eye on the postseason.

14. Chicago Bears-Calvin Pryor-Free Safety-Louisville

The Chicago Bears get a playmaking free safety here and more importantly Calvin Pryor will be an enforcer.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers-Khalil Mack-Outside Linebacker-Buffalo

In consecutive National Football League Drafts the Pittsburgh Steelers found themselves their next generation of edge rushers.

16. Dallas Cowboys-Dee Ford-Defensive End-Auburn

The Dallas Cowboys must find a replacement at defensive end for the recently departed DeMarcus Ware.

17. Baltimore Ravens-C.J. Mosley-Middle Linebacker-Alabama

For so long the Baltimore Ravens strength defensively has been their linebacking core and Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome will look to keep that going.

18. New York Jets-Anthony Barr-Outside Linebacker-UCLA

The New York will enter the NFL Draft with several needs, but a dynamic pass rusher in Anthony Barr is too much for Jets head coach Rex Ryan to pass up on.

19. Miami Dolphins-Cyrus Kouandijo-Offensive Tackle-Alabama

After last year’s bullying scandal you know that the Miami Dolphins are going to address their offensive line early and often during the NFL Draft.

20. Arizona Cardinals-Morgan Moses-Offensive Tackle-Virginia

The Arizona Cardinals will enter the NFL Draft with the ability to select the best athlete available.

21. Green Bay Packers-Mike Evans-Wide Receiver-Texas A&M

The Green Bay Packers have become thin lately at the wide receiver position and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers needs a number one receiver to target.

22. Philadelphia Eagles-Darqueze Dennard-Cornerback-Michigan State

The Philadelphia Eagles secondary was chopped up like a cheesesteak last year and Eagles head coach Chip Kelly will look to fix that.

23. Kansas City Chiefs-Odell Beckham Jr.-Wide Receiver-LSU

It wouldn’t shock me if Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid were to select a quarterback here, but if he doesn’t he’ll take a wide receiver that can compliment Dwayne Bowe.

24. Cincinnati Bengals-Ryan Shazier-Outisde Linebacker-Ohio State

Under head coach Marvin Lewis the Cincinnati Bengals have made a habit of getting impact players in the first round.

25. San Diego Chargers-Jimmie Ward-Strong Safety-Northern Illinois

The San Diego Chargers could look to draft a tight end here, but Jimmie Ward is too good to pass on.
26. Cleveland Browns-Xavier Su’a-Filo-Guard-UCLA

Xavier Su’a-Filo will fit in nicely immediately on the Cleveland Browns offensive line between offensive tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack.

27. New Orleans Saints-Kony Ealy-Defensive End-Missouri

In the second year of the 3-4 defensive scheme under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, the New Orleans Saints will get themselves a hybrid player that can play both defensive end and outside linebacker.
28. Carolina Panthers-Marquise Lee-Wide Receiver-USC

For the past few years the Carolina Panthers have passed on selecting a wide receiver and they cannot afford to do it for another year.

29. New England Patriots-Jace Amaro-Tight End-Texas Tech

After the arrest of Aaron Hernandez and the mounting injuries to Rob Gronkowski, the New England Patriots
must address the tight end position.

30. San Francisco 49ers-Kyle Fuller-Cornerback-Virginia Tech

The San Francisco 49ers secondary have had issues as far as covering wide receivers when their front seven isn’t getting pressure and they need more athletes that can hold their own in the secondary.

31. Denver Broncos-Scott Crichton-Defensive End-Oregon State

After last season’s debacle in the Super Bowl, the Denver Broncos have been hell bent on fixing their defense.

32. Seattle Seahawks-Brandin Cooks-Wide Receiver-Oregon State

The Seattle Seahawks lost a few players at wide receiver during the off-season and they won’t skip a beat by drafting Brandin Cooks.
