American League

1. Detroit Tigers
2. Los Angeles Angels
3. Baltimore Orioles
4. Texas Rangers
5. New York Yankees

American League Wild Card Game: New York vs. Texas

Led
by strong pitching from CC Sabathia and timely hitting from shortstop
Derek Jeter, The Yankees will find a way to get a victory in Arlington
while sending The Rangers home for the second year in a row as losers of
The AL Wild Card Game.

American League Division Series

New York vs. Detroit (Detroit 3-1)

The
Tigers swept The Yankees last season in The American League
Championship Series. The Yanks will get a victory against The Tigers,
but it is indeed a changing of the guard in The American League.

Baltimore vs. Los Angeles (Los Angeles 3-2)

If
you want to enjoy a classic postseason series then you will get your
money’s worth if you belly up and watch this series. Two of the toughest
managers in the game Buck Showalter (Orioles) and Mike Sscioscia (Angels) will
have their teams ready. After being away from the playoff stage for a
year, Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is ready to shine and Angels
center fielder Mike Trout is ready to make a name for himself in the
postseason.

American League Championship Series: Los Angeles vs. Detroit (Los Angeles 4-3)

Two
teams that are full of Major League Baseball All-Stars will go at it,
but it will be The All-Stars for The Angels that get them to The World
Series for the first time since 2002.

National League

1. Los Angeles Dodgers
2. Washington Nationals
3. St. Louis Cardinals
4. San Francisco Giants
5. Cincinnati Reds

National League Wild Card Game: Cincinnati vs. San Francisco

After
trailing The Reds 0-2 in last year’s National League Division Series,
The Giants got all the breaks en route to winning The World Series. The
Reds have not forgotten as they will be able to quiet the fans in The
Bay Area.

National League Division Series

Cincinnati vs. Los Angeles (Los Angeles 3-1)

The
Reds still will not be able to end their National League Championship
Series drought as the pitching of Clayton Kershaw along with the hitting
of outfielder Matt Kemp will be the difference for The Dodgers.

St. Louis vs. Washington (St. Louis 3-2)

In
the most recent case of deja vu, The Nationals cannot get over the hump
as The Cardinals will once again find a way to defeat a team in the
postseason that is favored to knock them off.

National League Championship Series: St. Louis vs. Los Angeles (Los Angeles 4-2)

After
taking time to gel last season, The Dodgers will find the right formula
in October. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly will have this team clicking
on all cylinders.

2013 World Series: Los Angeles Angels vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Angels 4-2)

The
stars will be out in Hollywood for The World Series as you can expect a
back and forth effort from two teams that are filled with talent, but
it will be the combination of Pujols, Trout, and Josh Hamilton that lead
The Angels to their second World Series Championship in franchise
history.
