The race to hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl 48 is on!!!!!!!!!!
AFC Wild Card
(6) Cincinnati Bengals vs. (3) New England Patriots
This will mark the third straight year that the Cincinnati Bengals will make the playoffs which will be a first for the franchise, but it will also be the third straight season in which they exit the postseason without advancing.
(5) Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens
In a rematch of the 2012 AFC Wild Card Game, the Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Andrew Luck will find a way to get past the Baltimore Ravens as it will just add to this already intense rivalry.
NFC Wild Card
(6) Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. (3) Atlanta Falcons
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally gotten to the playoffs with quarterback Josh Freeman at the helm while the Atlanta Falcons feel that this is their season to advance to the Super Bowl. Once the Bucs lose this game will leading his team to the playoffs be enough for Freeman to receive an extension from the team?
(5) San Francisco 49ers vs. (4) Washington Redskins
For the second consecutive year the Washington Redskins will host an NFC West team in the wild card round and just like 2012 the ‘Skins will go home scratching their heads.
AFC Divisional Playoffs
(5) Indianapolis Colts vs. (1) Houston Texans
The Colts are once again back in the playoff picture, but they still don’t have enough to get past the Houston Texans.
(3) New England Patriots vs. (2) Denver Broncos
Two longtime rivals in New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning meet once more in the postseason and just like the majority of Manning’s time with the Colts, he falls short in the playoffs and to Brady.
NFC Divisional Playoffs
(5) San Francisco 49ers vs. (1) Seattle Seahawks
Both of these teams are good enough to win the Super Bowl, but only one of these NFC West teams can advance and when the smoke settles it will be the San Francisco 49ers advancing to the NFC Championship Game.
(3) Atlanta Falcons vs. (2) Minnesota Vikings
Once upon a time these two franchises meet in an epic NFC Championship that was decided in overtime on a field goal. You won’t have to worry about that this time around as the Falcons will enter this game as the better football team.
AFC Championship Game
(3) New England Patriots vs. (1) Houston Texans
The Patriots have had a lot of things go against them recently, but through it all Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will guide them through it and once again advance to the Super Bowl.
NFC Championship Game
(5) San Francisco 49ers vs. (3) Atlanta Falcons
These two clashed in last year’s NFC Championship Game at the same venue. 2013 won’t see a different outcome as the Niners will once again go home with the George S. Halas Trophy.
Super Bowl 48 (MetLife Stadium-East Rutherford, New Jersey)
(5) San Francisco 49ers vs. (3) New England Patriots
These are two organizations that know a thing or two about winning Super Bowl Championships, but 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh will use last season’s Super Bowl loss to get his team over the hump.
