*Playoff format is based on tentative expansion for 2012

American League Wild Card Game:  Boston vs. Texas

The
Red Sox will do what they couldn’t in 2011, get to the postseason. The
Rangers are battled tested and they have their eyes set on a third trip
to The World Series.

American League Division Series: Texas vs. Los Angeles (Los Angeles 3-1)

The
old format for The Divisional Round is gone allowing opponents from the
same division to square-off. The Angels pitching staff is too deep for
the mighty bats of Texas.

New York vs. Detroit (New York 3-2)

The
Bronx Bombers could not close the deal last season against The Tigers
in The ALDS, but this season The Yankees have added more depth to the
starting rotation giving them the slight edge in this competitive
series.

American League Championship Series: New York vs. Los Angeles (Los Angeles 4-2)

The combination of Albert Pujols and Jered Weaver will be too much for The Yanks to overcome in October.

National League Wild Card Game: Los Angeles vs. Arizona

It is really tough to imagine The Dodgers losing in a one-game playoff with Clayton Kershaw on the mound.

National League Division Series: Los Angeles vs. Philadelphia (Philadelphia 3-1)

Starting
pitcher Roy Halladay will once again be his dominant self and The
Phillies pitching staff will really key on keeping The Dodger hitters in front of Matt Kemp off base.

St. Louis vs. San Francisco (San Francisco 3-2)

In a hard fought series that could go either way, The Giants barely find a way to finish off a pesky Cardinal team.

National League Championship Series: San Francisco vs. Philadelphia (San Francisco 4-2)

These
two teams clashed in The LCS in 2010 with The Giants shocking The
Phillies, but this time San Francisco has more offense to go with their
dominant pitching.

The World Series: San Francisco vs. Los Angeles (San Francisco 4-2)

The Giants shocked the baseball world when they won it all in 2010 and they will do it again in 2012.
